Care Studios
Discover how DTCare’s Better Learning, Brighter Futures program is helping children in Sub-Saharan Africa access education, opportunity, and hope.
In this video, Judith Thompson, DTCare Program Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa and founder of Care Studios, shares how education and ethical retail partnerships can create lasting change. A powerful example is Care Studios’ partnership with the Museum of Flight, which generated approximately $36,000 in sales in only six months through a single consignment partnership.
These results extend far beyond retail. Every Care Studios order supports the livelihoods of South African women artisans, while the connection with DTCare helps advance educational opportunities for children. Founded in 2019, the education program currently supports 28 children.
Through personal stories and scenes from the communities served, the video demonstrates how museums, retailers, artisans, and customers can work together to create meaningful economic and social impact.
Every purchase has a purpose—and every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
